I am currently searching for jobs on Workday with no relevant experience. What are my chances?

Hi Diwakar! We absolutely hire candidates with no relevant Workday experience as we run an Associate Consultant program here at Kognitiv. Twice per year, we'll bring on a group of individuals who are interested in building a career in Workday consulting, these individuals are either looking to transition their careers (much like yourself), or new college graduates. We'll provide you with 6 weeks of boot camp training where you'll get to learn about all things Workday configuration related, and will be able to take your learnings and practice them in a training environment. Once the boot camp training is complete, you'll be paired up with a mentor whom you will do some job shadowing with while also taking on some of the less complex support tickets we receive. By 6 months, you should be ready to be a full consultant and will be assigned fully on client work.

We will begin to recruit for our 2024 groups in the fall so definitely keep an eye out then for the posting so that you can apply to it and be considered for the role. More information is shared on our careers page, under the Early Careers Section.

Hi Jessica! I am a new graduate with a burning passion to get into Workday consulting! As someone who is keeping an eye out for updates on your Associate Consulting Program, I was wondering if something I could do in between cohorts of this program to add to my credentials such as any coursework, boot camps, or certifications?

It's so nice to hear from you, congratulations on your graduation! Our next cohort will likely commence in June 2024 with recruitment efforts picking up shortly, so something to pass the time that would provide a good foundation for you would be the Workday Basics and Beyond Basics courses. I've personally taken them and felt that they really helped me to have a better understanding of Workday and the full suite of products and what configuration looks like across the different areas.
