What skills have you gained since you joined?

Since joining Kognitiv, I have gained so many different skills along with sharpening some of the skills I came to Kognitiv with. One of the most valuable skills I have gained was managing multiple projects and client requests with competing deadlines. With that skill, I have learned to manage my time more efficiently, learned to ask for help and when to ask for help, and learned to break down tasks and delegate work so we can meet the clients' needs.


I have also learned how to configure all different aspects of workday, from Reporting to Company setup and business processes. This really helps me understand the organization as a whole, which in turn helps me to build better relationships with our clients. At Kognitiv, you will be challenged to learn all aspects of Workday, but don't worry, you don't have to have all of the answers coming in. We have various channels for various areas of Workday that are directed by Product Leads that can answer your questions!


Which brings me to my next point; I have learned to sharpen my communication skills, which is one of the key skills that will help you succeed at Kognitiv (and elsewhere!). I have learned to be a better listener and note taker during client meetings, while providing meeting recaps to solidify my understanding. Overall, sharpening my communication skills really help me to be the best consultant I can be.
