What do you like most about this company?

One of my favorite aspects of working for Kognitiv is the ability to have complete ownership over my schedule and responsibilities. This means I can plan out my week according to my personal schedule to achieve the work-life balance you often see in our reviews. I see this happen across my team, along with other departments throughout Kog; The company really embodies the core value of "Act Like an Owner".

Another aspect I enjoy are the various challenging problems I face on a daily basis. I am able to learn various aspects of Workday from FIN to the HCM side of the house. When I am not able to come up with a solution on my own, or need a second opinion, I have a team of intelligent consultants eager to help. We use Slack and have very open communication between teams and other departments. Just this week, I am working on a problem that sits between FIN and Payroll where I am learning a whole new process. Ultimately, the people you work with along with the challenges you conquer make the job, and I can say we have some of the best at Kognitiv.

What I find particularly commendable about Kognitiv or Rooster pertains to the organizational attributes of work flexibility and learning opportunities. The company culture fosters an environment where individual contributions are duly recognized and respected. Initiative-taking is consistently valued, both in the context of task execution and the presentation of innovative ideas before the team, reflecting a corporate ethos that encourages proactivity and creative input.
