Tell me when you have most valued your colleagues?

There are many times when I have felt grateful for my colleagues at Kognitiv! We have an excellent network of brains here, and we leverage Slack channels to post questions to each other when something unfamiliar pops up or we need help. So, it is almost a weekly occurrence for me to be the beneficiary of someone else's experience with a specific situation or issue I haven't encountered before.

Most recently, I felt very grateful to my colleagues because I was able to take a two-week vacation (which is longer than I have taken in the past) without worrying about the work I was leaving behind. My team and manager were there to support me and the clients I was working with - both by planning adequate coverage for known issues ahead of time and by pinch-hitting when a client had an urgent or unanticipated need. I was able to take my PTO knowing the clients would be well taken care of, and that I would return to work that was humming along smoothly. It is such a relief to be able to take that time for myself and my family and truly disconnect from work, knowing my teammates have my back!
