How is success evaluated in this role?

Success is primarily evaluated against the duties and expectations laid out in our job descriptions. In order to reach my goal of being promoted from Business Consultant to Senior Business Consultant, my manager and I examined the responsibilities of the two roles and created goals for me based on what duties I had already mastered and what I had yet to achieve. For example, one of my goals was to be the lead consultant on a project from start to finish. Once I accomplished that final goal my promotion came not long after. All of our goals are very clear cut and measurable, which makes it much easier to progress and achieve them. It's one of the things I appreciate most about Kognitiv's development and performance philosophy.
